Rio Grande Weaver
Weaving the horizon I was raised inside.
I am a Rio Grande weaver based in New Mexico.
My work is shaped by the land I was raised in, long horizons, desert light, and the rhythm of the loom.
I weave slowly and intentionally, working within a tradition that lives in both craft and place.
Each piece explores tension, repetition, and the quiet space where things are held together.
MY WORK

STATEMENT
I don’t weave to decorate a space. I weave to hold one. My work explores the horizon, the meeting point of light and land, tension and rest.Through repetition and structure, I create pieces that carry presence: grounded, intentional, and alive with the rhythm of the loom.
PROCESS
Woven on traditional looms using natural fibers, my work is built slowly—thread by thread. The process is physical and rhythmic. It requires attention, patience, and a relationship with tension. Nothing is rushed. Each piece emerges over time.
